The Self-reliant diver course is to train divers to have their own independent gas supply and how to use it in the event of a “Low or Out of Gas” situation. Training emphasis their ability to respond to unforeseen problems, make decisions under pressure, and manage their own safety and well-being during dives.
Divers might still rely on external resources or support when it comes to equipment and certain logistical aspects. This is not a Solo Diver course.
